OK, so I'm a 21 year old male and I was attending the Harry Potter 6 premiere where I met this girl and we just began talking. John is completely right. You would get PRK and be on a waiting list. Since you are Combat Arms you are priority 1 (end of the line for the priority 1 list but you are still going to get it faster than all the other MOS). You should be able to have that already done and fully recovered by your 3 year mark. Once that happens try for a recl of MOS to go Infantry then when you reenlist get Airborne in your contract (and Infantry if you couldn't get it earlier). What could've caused me to be sick?

Ok so my day started perfectly fine. To start I usually have bad allergies, but I take oregano pills which takes care of that. I shared applesauce with my friend in the morning, and he said his throat hurt a little for a couple of days, but he felt fine that day. I felt great all day, then I smoked at the end of the day with my friend, and she said she was not sick at all, but we were out in the drizzle of rain for an hour. In that time I got bit by mosquitoes a good 10-20 times. Then I got on the bus at 5 pm and I was eating starburst and my throat was a little scratchy , but not bad. I went right to bed and woke up in the night with a sore throat. I woke up at 6 am and I couldn't swallow, my head was pounding, I couldn't satnd without getting winded, and I couldn't breathe through my nose. So what the hell could've caused it?

If you have to pay for a PhD it isn't worth it. Schools who do not provide full funding (tuition+stipend) do not really want you there, since if they did, they would give you some money to attend. I would recommend applying to a few different places and seeing what kind financial aid package the schools that accept you provide. Mys current package changes from semester to semester. For my program I always get full tuition plus a little over $20k a year, but some semesters I teach a cl or two, and others I am a research istant, it depends. I hope you find a place that funds you! Firstly, Vilas never won Wimbledon. I'm not sure why that was said, but Vilas is definitely one of the all-time greats of the game. His clay-court winning streak was one of the most impressive feats in tennis history. How do I get paint off my basement floor that is peeling and what kind of paint should I use to repaint it?

My basement floor had a gray epoxy paint over it and I painted over that with primer and a latex paint which is now peeling. I have scd some if it off but it seems like it will take hours and hours to get it all off. Is there an easier way to do this without sanding it? Also, is there a way to paint over the epoxy that will stick or a really good primer I could use; again without having to sand it?

Friends at uni..........?

I am 2 months into my course. I have made a few friends on my course, who i can work with. But they all live at home, which is a bummer as i live in student halls. I have made no friends in my accomadation, my 3 flatmates aren't really my friends, two have come from their college together and another one already has friends elsewhere that have come from his hometown. So they are not really that sociable with me as they have friends already. Its becoming quite annoying i don't talk to anyone while in my halls, except the occional hi to flatmates. Its soooo depressing, it should give me more time for work but it doesnt i'm just sooo demotivated. i had a high expectation of uni, which i shouldnt have. Everyone i know my cousins and friends from school say uni is amazing for them clubbing, chilling with FRIENDS etc etc. but i haven't experienced that, i'm always alone and always standing and walking on my own to and fro uni. I'm just sooo demotivated. i feel like there is something wrong with me. I even had a few friends in secondary school aswell, but in primary i had loads and loads, i dunno over the years its just decreased. There has to be something wrong with me. I just cant take it anymore, i'm sooo lonely. I'm thinking that i should change uni next year, i'm in wolverhampton atm, i dunno though, or thinking of staying here and moving halls to where there are no foreigners. Since it is grammatically correct to spell God as God, then why do some spell God as god, with lower case?

Spelling god with a lower case g isn't really being intolerant toward religion. Its just saying I personally don't believe in it so there is no need for me to capitalize it because it holds no real significance in my life. That is a far cry from being religiously intolerant. If god is so important to you then you are can capitalize it doesn't mean to me what it means to you. Also, who says the only grammatically correct way to say it is with a capital? When I type god it does not get the little red squiggly line under it. To me, its just a preference thing. I do the same thing when talking about braille. When a rear naked choke is sunk in deep and properly, are there any effective techniques for escaping?

You can escape the RNC even if its locked in. The percentage of success goes way down but you can get out. With the RNC its the second hand behind the head that puts the pressure and actually makes the choke possible in most cases. If someone locks the second hand just keep reaching back and pulling it back out. Once you've done that you need to keep control of that arm so they don't lock it again. Next you can start working to get the arm around your neck away and pop the hooks out. Also if the person crosses their feet between your legs you can footlock them. If the person has a figure four bodylock you can do a few things. You can roll to one side so the persons feet are touching the ground. From there you can do a foot lock. Look on youtube under "body triangle". You can also bridge up so you push your body perpendicular to theirs and turn around. In a street fight I guess you can go for the eyes or something if the person doesn't know how to properly lock a RNC. I suppose you could also try breaking fingers but usually thats hard if the person knows how to lock a RNC.If you are both standing you can squat down a little to get your hips under thiers and then go for the throw. If the have hooks in and your standing you'll need to escape a hook to do the throw. If you get one locked on you, you better act fast because your out in a couple seconds. There is always a right and wrong thing to do but the right thing doesn't guarantee success. Theres hundredsof little moves like wristlocks and armbars that you can get when someone is one your back also but thats only if they're very inexperienced. Good Luck

Question about my voice...?

I would like to know at what age as a male, do I get my "final voice." I believe I started puberty at about thirteen-years old, as my voice cracked at first but changed over that summer, and became extremely deep (almost monotone). Now however, at eighteen, my voice actually seems to have gotten a little lighter, but it still isn't always clear and many times I have to clear my throat. When will my voice finally become stable, or is this it already? Engagement ring question?

I know this sounds weird but my guy and I have already started planning our wedding (because it is only 7 months away) but technically we are not "officially" engaged yet. Really just a technicality. Does Rheumatoid arhritis attack the spine?

Every part of my body aches ...every joint that is. My hands, feet,...you name it. I feel sick. I am truly a mess and I have signs of degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine (don't know about the other parts of my spine yet) and osteoarthritis. I'm only 34 years old but feel like I'm 80. Ok, so I understand that there are many jobless people out there that would be more than willing to take a job that would only pay them min wage. My problem is that my rate of pay and hard filthy, vile, line of work....that is working with peoples feeces and discusting things that are found every day in sinks, toilets, and sewer lines! The company I work for is great, but I know that they are banking a load more than I feel i should be getting paid. When we have no work comeing in I'm on call for no rate in pay..which also restrics me to staying home and waiting "on call" for nothing, this includes my weekends too..yes saturdays and sundays! Im tired of liveing paycheck to paycheck knowing that I deserve a reasonable raise. Ok think about this....most of our jobs are roof jobs or sewer jobs....the equipment is heavy.....weather does not make a difference...how many hours I spend on a job doesnt matter either! Since checking in to a hotel is a binding contract let's say a 17 year old checked into a hotel and they never asked for an ID and never asked his age. They only asked his name, address etc. He doesnt want to pay the bill and now the hotel wants to take it to court. Small reddish insect that bites?

She said it was a little smaller than an ant, red (not lady beetle red but a darkish red), six legs, long antennae in comparison to its body length, no wings (or none that she noticed) and it gave her a painful bite. Can I switch the nest of my Lovebirds?

I adopted two Lovebirds and they had a clutch of 5 eggs, I didn't time the hatching of the eggs properly and they hatched a week before I was prepared. I already have a Bachelor's degree (in a different subject) and the program at the school I'm thinking about attending is actually for an ociate's degree. I've heard good things about this 2 yr. school, which is why I'm interested. But I don't know if it'll bolster my resume any, if it displays that I earned a Bachelor's, followed by an ociates (in another subject matter of course). There's another local school which has cles in this same concentration of study, but offers a certificate after completing the coursework. That would make more sense. Maple syrup subsitute in stir fry recipe?

I'm making an Asian noodle stir fry that calles for real maple syrup in the sauce mixture. I don't have any on hand. What can I use instead or must I run to the store for the syrup? What I do have is agave nectar, honey, pancake and waffle syrup (the cheap artificial kind) and maybe corn syrup. Or should I just omit it? Thanks! This is humiliating...but maybe someone on here can help. I'm 27, weight almost 300 lbs :(. You're probably wondering why I said that...well I'm trying to exercise. Muscle Twitching, I hope there's help out there only serious Helpful answers please?

I am a 36 year old male and I have serious continual muscle twitches through out my body. It is more concentrated in my abdomen, Deep chest, arms, Stomach and Thighs. This has been going on for over 3 to 4 years and is getting worse. Their are times my eyes and lips will twitch for weeks on end. even my tongue very small but fast twitches. I eat healthy, I don't eat fast foods at all or processed foods. I take 1,000mg Magnesium and 500mg of calcium every day 3 times a day. I drink lots of water, I quit coffee 2 years ago and I have seen 2 different neurologists one of which is one of the top 3 in the country. I ve undergone all neurological test with the exception of a biopsy. At first the thought a muscular dystrophy then ruled it out. My neurologist would stare at my tongue while it was in a relaxed position for some reason but never tell me why. My reflexes are excellent and so is my blood under extensive studies. Can someone please help? I f you are having the same issues please point me in the right direction is there something I haven't tried? My son is 8 years old and is under a great deal of stress cause he thinks im dieing. I have to continue to inform him im good and as strong as a lion. I don't want to make my self a liar. I might add there are some complications with me I do have degenerative disk disease in my L4L5 and C2-5, I also have a slight case of Arnold Chiari Malformation Disease of the brain, can these things be causing it and if so are they life threatening??? please help Is there an experienced Dr. out there with an opinion??? Anytime I run into a formula change I wean my dog onto the new formula and then watch the dog's poop like a hawk for the first week or two. I wouldn't worry too much about the 2%... Introducing a kitten to a resident cat?

We had two 16 month old sisters Poppy and Daisy up until last week when we were devastated to find Daisy had been killed by a dog. Being in shock and very emotional we thought should we get another so Poppy isn't alone in the cattery when we go on holiday. So we have gone and got another female 8 week old kitten. Having read previous posts on here now after the event i can see i should have put the little one in a separate room but i was unaware of this and brought her straight into the house. I knew Poppy wasn't going to take to her straight away and it has only been a couple of days anyway. Poppy has spent a lot of time outside just coming in for food and we are giving her a lot of attention when she does come in and when we see her outside as well. We have been putting the little one at night in her own room in the middle of the evening so Poppy eventually comes in and sits with us for attention. However of course when they do meet Poppy is spitting a bit she did lick the little one this morning, and then the kitten moved quicky like they do and got a soft bashing on the head. Poppy will accept this kitten wont she? I am very worried about this. They are due to go to the cattery together in four weeks as we have holiday booked and will be in the same enclosure then. Also to add insult to injury we are due to get a puppy er spaniel in 6 weeks after the holiday which was all organised before the dreadful happening of last week to Daisy.

My cat keeps getting horrible looking insects stuck on his head?

My cat likes lazing around just about anywhere, but mostly in the flower beds. For several weeks now he has had these horrible looking blood sucking insects stuck to his head. He gets about 4 or 5 a week. My husband has to pull them out - they have wiggly legs, their body is grey and the more blood they suck the bigger their body gets - gross eh! We dab infected area with disinfectant, but am a bit worried. Could they be causing damage? They don't seem to annoy him at all. I am in College in MS and I have a friend that is from another country(Uzbekhistan) by the name of Aziza.
