Does anyone know anything about ulcerated corneas?

I have a ulcerated corneas caused by my contact lens. I have a scar on my cornea but it is not right in the middle it is to the left of the cornea. The doctor wants me to wear hard lens to try and correct my vision in my eye. It has been 3 months. Will the scar get any better and will the lens really help. I see much better than before but not really clear. It is like looking thru a piece of plastic.
