What would you do if you were in my situation ?

It wouldn't hurt to ask! Like Fennec Fox said, the worst they can say is no. Maybe what else you could do it look up some other respectable local stables and e-mail/call and ask if you could work in exchange for lessons or even just to ride in general :)
