What is the name of this beer?

Last spring a friend had a beer I think it was a german beer but it had things floating in it and was cloudy in appearance. the best way to drink it was to shake it up. It tasted real good. I liked it better then Guinness Extra Stout. Can you help me with the name of this beer?
