Help me with my b guitar tone please?

I really like the attack I get with my treble up pretty high, but I get a slight hissy sound out of my amp by doing this. It's nothing horrible, but I'd much rather have it gone. Any ideas on what to do? Maybe a noise gate? Thanks.
