I am still dreaming about freddy Kruger at the age of 28?Help? PLEASE.?

I am very serious about this.Every few months I dream about this fictional "slasher" character!? It's aways been there,and yes I own the Nightmare on elm street movies but NEVER watch them.I have always been terrified by this character though,and robert england is a great actor but this "man" (freddy) still haunts my dreams 20 years later.Have anything simular? Please help.
