I'm making an Asian noodle stir fry that calles for real maple syrup in the sauce mixture. I don't have any on hand. What can I use instead or must I run to the store for the syrup? What I do have is agave nectar, honey, pancake and waffle syrup (the cheap artificial kind) and maybe corn syrup. Or should I just omit it? Thanks! Also it calls for 2 tablespoons of the real maple syrup, so please let me know any subsituting measurements.
